Guardian Angel Cathedral stands as one of the most unexpected and meaningful landmarks in the city. Designed in 1963 by renowned architect Paul R. Williams, it embraces a bold mid-century modern A frame structure that alm…
Beautiful building and well taken care of. Gorgeous painted mural behind the altar and incredible stained glass windows. One of the few remaining original buildings from the original Las Vegas Strip.

Beautiful church. The 12:15pm mass is a heavenly break from work or distractions.
Crucial comparison benchmark for Catholic couples: Roman Catholic priests of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas generally do NOT travel to hotel suites, commercial chapels, or Red Rock overlooks. Couples desiring a valid Roman Catholic sacrament on the Strip book Guardian Angel Cathedral (302 Cathedral Way) 12–18 months in advance with Pre-Cana clearance, whereas couples needing short-notice hotel or outdoor Catholic-inspired prayers hire an independent Christian or Old Catholic-tradition mobile minister. Lock peak spring (Mar–May) and October dates 4–8 weeks ahead, especially for sunset slots.
