This was out last course on the trip. The house backs onto the course and the team is new to Henderson so we saved it until last to have a few drinks and enjoy the day. Really fun course in great shape. The staff was great. You definitely need to keep balls straight off the tee to avoid homes. If you cant do that, grab a different club pff the tee and enjoy a great round.
I loved this course. Great price for the technical fun you get from this golf course. Staff was excellent. Course was pretty pure. I will be going back. Come check it out.
Last summer Legacy was unplayable and they were charging $30 a round because of the course conditions. Then they got their act together and the fairways and greens were lush and beautiful. Today it was 110+ in Vegas so I expect dry desert conditions, but there is a difference between “dry” and “neglected”. Not only were the fairways dry and patchy but the greens looked like clay surfaces they were so dead. They also desperately need to put some time
The golf course is in amazing condition, all tee decks and fairways, and greens are all very well maintained. I think they are all rebuilt not long ago. The pace is also good, we started 12 noon and finished the round in four hours and 18 minutes. The starters and marshals are all very friendly. Minor issues to me, some range balls got on the fairways of hole 1 and hole 9. If some nets can be installed between the driving range and these two holes fairway
I have played here several times this year. The course is normally mediocre, but we usually have a good time. Currently it is in such bad shape they should be closed. There are no greens at all. They are all completely dead, only dirt. The fairways are barely alive, there is no cart girl, the kitchen is closed. All that and they still want $45 in the 115 degree heat to play. I don’t recommend playing here until next year when/if they get things together.
