Came here to get a stamp for the NV State Park Passport book. I got there at 8am, but the visitor center wasn't open until 10am. I went on a short walk and took pics. I did not stay until 10am. The bathroom only had one open, and I wouldn't call it stellar clean; toilet was clogged. It was a beautiful park with amazing views.
Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is great place to visit if you're looking to escape the hustle of the Vegas Strip. The ranch & park are rich in both beauty and history; the park offers shady picnic areas & maintained hiking trails and the ranch house offers a glimpse into its previous owner's lifestyle.
It's a great cool place to bbq and touch grass with a breeze. Around 10 degrees or more cooler than the heart of Vegas it's like being in another State. Restrooms and benches along with some cow and trails it has it all for the whole family
